Check concurrent processes

When Xcode, simulators, browsers, dependency services, and remote desktop run together, memory pressure is often more important to check than the duration of a single build.

Check cache size

DerivedData, dependency directories, model files, and build artifacts from multiple repositories continuously consume storage. If you need to retain them long term, consider an SSD add-on.

Check duration

Start temporary validation with daily or weekly billing. For stable development nodes, compare monthly and quarterly catalog prices and choose the period that matches your project.

Configure and initialize your physical node in three steps

The delivery flow separates node selection, order confirmation, and initialization. The standard path takes about 4 minutes in total; exact results are based on the order and node status returned by the console.

Core and Plus differ in memory, storage, and price—not in resource ownership. Whichever plan you choose, the delivered machine is a dedicated physical Mac mini.

Dedicated physical machine

Each order is assigned one physical Mac mini, with computing resources not shared with other accounts. The machine, memory, and storage shown in the system match the plan catalog.

Remote desktop access

After delivery, use VNC to connect to the macOS graphical interface, or use the command line as required by your development workflow. Connection credentials are available through the authenticated service flow.

Administrator access

Install development tools, manage dependencies, and adjust the local environment as needed for your project. Keep your credentials secure and review the impact before changing system configuration.

Reinstallation and console management

Use the console to view order, node, and service information and to submit support requests. Back up your code, build artifacts, model files, and other essential data before reinstalling.

Management boundaries

SureVM delivers the node; you manage the workload

SureVM handles delivery of the physical node assigned to your order and the core service process. You are responsible for software configuration, project data, access credentials, dependency versions, and backup policies. When submitting a support request, include the node, machine, time of occurrence, reproduction steps, and redacted logs. Do not submit passwords, private keys, or complete payment credentials.
